How we develop a thermoforming project

Tray selection starts with the product and the packing process. Our technical team gathers the application data, assesses feasibility and supports the project through to production.

Product, geometry and packing line

We assess product size and weight, stackability, filling, sealing system and line parameters. For MAP and skin packs, we also consider the lidding film, barrier and required result.

Prototypes and packing trials

For custom formats, development may include drawings, prototypes, a pilot mould and pre-production runs. Samples help verify product fit, denesting and line performance before industrial production.

Materials and documentation

We define polymer, thickness, colour and any barrier structure according to the application. Technical and compliance documents are agreed based on the product, market and project requirements.

From standard formats to planned supply

We first check whether an existing format is suitable. If a dedicated geometry is required, we assess mould investment and volumes, then plan batches, deliveries and stock around production demand.
